例外人的首支单曲【姑娘，你很漂亮】到目前为止荣获了四次本地RED FM红人音乐排行榜的榜首,四次亚军!这首歌交出了漂亮的成绩最重要的当然是歌迷们地大力支持!倘若没有大家抱着”支持本地音”的精神, 也没有今天这么好的成绩! 当然这首歌的耐听度是有目共睹的!

由臺灣金曲獎最佳編曲得主，及曾任張惠妹世界演唱會音樂總監的著名音樂大師Martin Tang所發掘的‘例外人’近期將活躍在華語流行樂壇。
而由Martin一手精心挑選歌曲，構思和泡制的首张專輯必為華語流行樂壇注入一些興奮劑和清新空氣，讓人期待。。。
You shall see a lot of The Remnant or “Li Wai Ren” in the Chinese music scene soon.
The Remnant is a 4-member band discovered by well-known musician, the Taiwan Golden Melody Award winner, Martin Tang, who is also the music director for Amei’s previous world tour concerts.
Their long-awaited debut album with songs and concept carefully chosen and engineered by Martin Tang will certainly inject a new excitement and some fresh air into the Chinese pop scene.

很多人一直很好奇为什么我们称为“例外人”，而“例外人”到底有什么含意？今天就来揭开你们心中之谜。。。
首先，希望大家不要误会，这名称并非自夸或自以为是，它只是一个目标、一个梦想。。。
1) 在现今唱片低糜的市场、经济那么不景气、盗版光碟猖狂。。。我们只希望我们会是例外的，即，我们希望我们会创造奇迹、唱片大卖、人人支持正版；不只是为了我们自己，也为了鼓舞所有认真做音乐的音乐人和唱片公司。。。
2) 在很多人的印象中，艺人的形象和生活方式仿佛不太健康。。。我们只希望我们会是例外的，再成名生活也要健康、干净，做歌迷们的好榜样，叫所有的家长都很放心让他们的孩子听我们的音乐。。。
3) 众所周知，音乐的影响力很大，它可以使你快乐或忧伤；可以让你积极或消极；可以让你很正面或很负面。。。我们只希望我们会是例外的，透过我们的音乐让你更快乐、更积极和很正面。。。
所以我们称自己为“例外人”，惟愿能常常提醒自己，我们不只是玩玩音乐，我们还有很重要的任务去完成，希望把祝福带给每一个人。。。
